Reviews on reviewfinder help other people make good decisions – but only if they are genuine and honest. These guidelines explain what makes a good review and what is not allowed here. By submitting a review, you agree to these guidelines and to our terms of use.
What makes reviewfinder different: Every review must be backed by proof that you were really there – via photo, video or voice message. That's why no company can have your review deleted.
Only review businesses you have had a personal experience with – as a customer, guest or client. Reviews based on hearsay, other people's experiences or hypothetical situations are not allowed. Your experience should also be reasonably recent so that it stays relevant.
On reviewfinder, proof is mandatory. Upload at least one photo, video or voice message that shows you were really there. The proof should match your review and must not be copied from other sources or artificially generated.
Describe what actually happened – factually and clearly. Specific details help others more than blanket praise or blanket criticism. Don't exaggerate and don't misrepresent anything.
Don't review your own business, your employer's, your family's or a competitor's. It is not allowed to review on behalf of a company or in exchange for payment, discounts or other benefits. Purchased or fake reviews will be removed and may lead to exclusion.
Do not publish other people's personal data or content you don't hold the rights to. With photos and videos in particular, make sure not to show uninvolved people in a recognisable way. How we handle your data is explained in our privacy policy.
We review submissions and their proof before publication, and also spot-check afterwards. If a review breaches these guidelines, we may reject or remove it. In case of repeated or serious violations, we may block access.
Because every review is backed by proof, no company can simply make honest but inconvenient reviews disappear. Companies can respond to reviews and request a check if they believe a review breaks the rules – but they cannot delete reviews on their own. That is exactly what makes reviewfinder authentic.
