A record is one profile returned – with or without its reviews. When you request a profile’s reviews, every started page of 50 reviews counts as one record. The change feed does not count.
The API answers with a clear notice instead of data until the month rolls over. An upgrade in the client area raises the allowance immediately – no waiting.
