Questions about the API

What counts as a record?

A record is one profile returned – with or without its reviews. When you request a profile’s reviews, every started page of 50 reviews counts as one record. The change feed does not count.

What happens when the allowance is used up?

The API answers with a clear notice instead of data until the month rolls over. An upgrade in the client area raises the allowance immediately – no waiting.

When does the allowance reset?

On the first of every month (UTC), regardless of your billing date. The allowance is shared by all keys of a plan.

Can I switch plans or cancel?

Any time, in the client area. An upgrade applies immediately, a downgrade at the end of the current period. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period.

May I reuse the data?

In your own applications, directories and analyses – yes, with attribution. The details are set out in the terms of use.
