GoogleMy husband and I had the best experience here at Belfield Cottages! We had a four night stay in the Stables and it was exactly what we needed. The owner is so kind and their property is so so beautiful and peaceful. They gave full service (cleaned and even did our dishes!) and always made sure to check if we needed anything each day. Thank you Belfield for giving us our perfect holiday away from the city!

I had such a lovely stay at The Stables Cottage — it’s full of character and history, having once been a horse stable and later a tasting room. The setting is beautiful, with incredible views over the Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards and the Groenland Mountains. The cottage itself is cozy and well-equipped, with a comfy queen bed, a small lounge area, and a fully stocked kitchen for self-catering. The wide stoep and garden were my favorite parts — perfect for relaxing outdoors or enjoying a braai. WiFi and Netflix are available (though the connection can vary), and the peaceful atmosphere makes it a great place to unwind. It’s an ideal countryside escape for two, and I’d happily stay there again.

Wow, what a wonderful stay we had. Accommodation, the views, and the host Mel is a wonderful person. You would not think you are only an hour outside Cape Town.

We had such a wonderful weekend, at the Bellfield wine cottage. The stables have been converted into a rustic, cosy cottage, which was clean, safe and comfortable with all the necessary comforts of home. The hostess Mel, is an absolute pleasure she is friendly and responsive. The setting is breathtaking and a perfect spot to just disconnect from the rat race and unwind. Just lovely !
