3 Stunden Wartezeit trotz Termin.

Location and Accessibility of the Clinic

The Clinic for Oral, Maxillofacial, and Facial Surgery is part of the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE) and is located in the Hamburg-Nord district. Its central location within the UKE campus makes it generally easily accessible, but navigating a large hospital campus can be challenging. Patients traveling from outside, such as from Uelzen, may have to accept longer travel times. Telephone accessibility is described as problematic by many patients, which complicates appointment scheduling and clarification of concerns. This can be a significant burden for patients who rely on quick contact.

Concept and Patient Care

The clinic offers specialized consultations for various diseases in the field of oral, maxillofacial, and facial surgery. The concept provides for comprehensive care, as shown by the request to bring X-rays and findings. However, patients report discrepancies between the aspiration and the reality of patient care. Long waiting times despite appointments and a sometimes lacking coordination within the team are criticized. While some doctors are perceived as professional and friendly, other patients find the staff unfriendly or uninterested. This indicates an inconsistent patient experience that depends on the individual situation and the treating staff.
